American Academy Of Professional Coders (AAPC) With Many Certifications
The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) was founded in 1988. AAPC provides certified credentials to medical coders in physician offices, hospital outpatient facilities, ambulatory surgical centers and in payer organizations.
The three certifications (CPC®, CPC-H®, and CPC-P®) are the gold standard certification for medical coding.
